I was very glad that I had thought to wear my best heavy boots when I came across this scene.
It was a toss up whether to include this in the Rivers Lakes and the Sea gallery but the trees gallery won - after all Burnham Beeches is renowned for its trees even if this is quite a sizable lake!!
