Commotion on North Lake

If you've looked at a few pictures on this site already, you'll have noticed that I like to paint reflections and water and swans and er...ducks.
This vignette has all these ingredients and also tells a story with the unruly behaviour of the two drakes being met by the icy detachment and lofty disdain of the swan while the remaining birds make themselves scarce.
Done from a photograph (the temperature was below freezing when I saw this scene )
Only very slight adjustments to the composition were required to pull the picture together.
