Fifield Sunset

Medium: Pastel

This is Fifield near Windsor on a Winter evening just before sunset. I was particularly struck by the tortured silhouttes of the three oak trees which were reminiscent of three witches.

Pastel is a particularly effective medium for rendering the effect of frost on grass
