Peep Bo

Medium: Pastel on flour grade sandpaper

Location: Evesbatch

Where I used to live in Evesbatch, there was a flock of these peculiar looking sheep with rabbit ears, roman noses and huge fleeces on dainty legs. They were very inquisitive and would always come to the gate to see who was visiting.

One day I met the shepherd coming down the lane with a flock of them and I asked what they were. Border Leicestershires was the answer.

The only thing wrong with them is tht they definitely cannot read.
