South Hill Park Frost (Pastel)
The lakes at South Hill Park in Bracknell are an easy walk from my home so when it is frosty or icy, I'm there with my camera.
I have to confess that I am too fond of my creature comforts to make a big thing of painting on the spot when it is very cold.
Some watercolourists do this and even put vodka in their water to stop it freezing when they paint watercolours.
I take a photo and drink the vodka
