Reflections have always been my speciality as well as angry skies so this scene was irresistible.
I have had a break of about four years from painting in pastels and this was one of my new batch painted on Colorfix paper which has an excellent tooth allowing overlays of subtle tones and effects such as the backlit twigs to the left of the cottage.
